The Nicky Branch Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Creative Writing
On Thursday 6 March 2024, The Alton College Foundation held its annual Scholarships for Excellence Ceremony.

In 2024, the Alton Society sponsored the scholarship for Excellence in Creative Writing, which was awarded to talented young writer Robyn Harris. The interview panel noted that Robyn has the ability to carefully consider and unravel her observations and feelings and to put them down on paper in a meaningful and poetic way. Robyn is keen to continue her creative writing after college, whether as an apprentice or at university.
